Haider’s dilemma “to be or not to be” and “Inteqam (The Revenge)”

In recent times a few days ago an astonishing movie of Vishal Bhardwaj’ Haider is released. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play “Hamlet”, but the movie is thoroughly different from Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ as the concept of revenge is similar theme in both the ‘Hamlet’ and ‘Haider’ but Haider is presented here in dissimilar way by Vishal Bhardwaj. He directed the movie “Haider” in path braking way. Shahid kappor played an amazing role which I never before seen apart from all his movies.  Vishal also shows that how political power is engaged in Indian Army against militants. They want freedom (Azad Kashmir).

Vishal Bhardwaj throughout this movie gives you an idea about that how a common man like Haider confused in his charade, inner conflict, dilemma of “to be or not to be” .  Haider’s impasse tills end up the story never clear as one scene of the movie in which the people are shouting to get their right or saying that what are their existences?

“Hum hai ke hum nahi, Hum hai ke hum nahi”

Now I am going to thrash out something about this movie that this movie was called “Anti- national” The film represent that how thousands of lives have been lost in the Kashmir conflict. The film gives a picture of “disappearance and the issue of half widow.”

This is indeed a film about revenge (Inteqam) Haider’s father being “disappeared person by making Haider’s mother half- widow.

Vishal also gives an image of Indian Army under political power as Khuram (Haider’s Uncle) killed his brother and married with his brother’s wife (Khajana). It’s very living death kind of situation for any person and its acidic truth for anyone to tolerate it. In One scene in this movie we can see   some lines written on the wall

“Go India,    Go Back”

It shows that Kashmir wants free from riots and militants environment.  They want to taste the freedom (Azad Kashmir) like Haider also wants freedom from his dilemma.

All the things are going into the mind of Haider one or two ways he wants to take revenge of his father’s murder. His inner voice makes him psychologically mad. His soliloquies demonstrate his inner voice towards his madness to take revenge:

Dil ki agar sunu toh hai, dimag ki toh hai nahi ... jaan loon ki jaan doon, main rahoon ki main nahi

( If I listen to my heart then you are there, if I listen to my mind then not ... should I take a life or give my life, should I live or not)

One side his mother loves him a lot. Not much but in some scenes we can see the Oedipus complex.  As Khajana (Haider’s Mother) memories Haider that it was disliked by him when she slept with her husband.
But she wants escape from the concern of “half widow”. one the other way Haider’s conflict is that he never tries comes out his inner struggle to recognize the voice of his mother, the character of his mother. One man Ruder (Iran Khan) comes and takes message with him “a pegam” that to kill his uncle.

But the end of the movie is very stupendous one. When Haider’s mother kill  herself with explosion and after all the things Haider now becomes  a fiend  to kill his uncle but last very poignant scene or very devout feat by Haider that he leave his uncle.  At that time his inner conflict does not  end. The two voices heard by Haider  one of his father to take revenge  and one of his mother that :

“Inteqam sirf inteqam paida karta hai. Jab tak hum inteqam se aazad nahi hote, koi azadi hamein azad nahi kar sakti

(Revenge only gives birth to revenge. Till the time we don’t set our minds free from the idea of revenge, no freedom can free us.)

His uncle tells Haider to kill him but Haider last remember his mother voice it shows that one or two ways he loves his mother extremely. He leaves  his uncle and disappear into his dilemma and with his inner conflict and struggle which remains question mark for Haider's life.

Apart from all good scene , Last scene is very marvelously  directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

In Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ the hero was dead but in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’ the hero is alive. I want to say that it is his leaving death. So to the end of the movie Haider’s dilemma is not clear.

So my point of view about this movie " Haider" is outstanding one and I would like to thanks Vishal Bhardwaj for making and presenting such a breathtaking movie to us.

What should i call this? Can I call habits or mentality of people as they are trying to escape from the reality?

What should i call this? Can I call habits or mentality of people as they are trying to escape from the reality?

In the first image there is one notice that due to, God you shouldn't throw garbage here and there are number of wasted things lying under the board. Many times I normally see the board which has notice that #“Don’t spit here” #and we find much spit at there. Is this people mentality or habit?

Look at second image , Before few days I visited one place which is a temple of God ‘Hanuman’ where I found a notice that “ Because of the Obedience of 'DADA' ( God Hanuman) Nobody allows to wear short cloth” I can’t understand that what is connection between clothes and the God ? But reality is totally different that During Ramayana Time there is no any clothes. Clear cut, there is no any connection between clothes and God, then why we are living with such a rigidity, or superstition? Are we really living with such rigidity? Is somebody behind this who doesn’t allow to-do this thing? And are we not blindly following this?

On Third image there is a notice that #“To stay away from addiction and Fashion”#but I saw many ‘BABAS’ who were smoking with Big Cigar. Ok it’s good that we keep ourselves away from prohibition but I can’t understand that “why we stay away from Fashion?” Is there God has any problem with Fashion? Or Do we believe in such rigidity?

Last image is from Amir upcoming movie’s poster #PK # is banned. We know that it is meaningless work of people because in one or two ways this movie will definitely realize in all over India by giving money to Censer board or any other way, the show must go.
If we allow this movie in India with naked poster then it's not right to believing in such rigidity that “   Nobody allows to wear short cloth” in temples. If we don’t allow this thing in public then we should first remove the poster of #PK#.

Test Series in England 2014 and Controversies...

Now days in cricket there is a big issue running that Indian cricket team’s captain Mahedrasingh Dhoni must go out and say bye bye to our couch Donken Flecture. When we win match at that time selectors,Couch,Board and media also give importance to all of  them that “Mahedrasingh Dhoni Match Ke Hero” and “Couch Match ke Maharathi”  and we star parsing as we saw in Lords test match. People parsed Indian team, couch and Bcci also think that now we have a strong and powerful Indian team. But when we loss a match why people criticize and started blaming on one man ‘captain’??? And we said that “Match ke Villain Mahedrasingh Dhoni”     Why in one match captain became hero and suddenly falling down and become Villain ? Means we think that in any condition we must be win the match. In game win or loss it doesn’t matter but the real meaning of cricket is that to come closer two nation, their people and their ideas. So the meaning like Brotherhood. This is the way of cricket perspective.

But Hall of Fame cricketers like Michael vaughan who commented "Indian cricket fans just accept it's banter.... Your team haven't performed,"
As we are not coming out of Jadeja and Anderson issue Michael vaughan commented like this. Lot of debits and controversies going that Jadeja banned for test matches and fee also. Finally the ICC declared not to banned on Jadeja. but one or two ways why only Indian player facing these problems ?why they not ?

Why?? Because Englishmen ruled over India.or they have still in their mind that India got freedom and they had to leave India and leave from their ruling methods. If not then why they banned on Jadeja as the miastake was of Andreson that he said bitter words to Jadeja.it show that now a days also Englishmen  ruled over India in this way through the medium of cricket. If we study in postcolonial way we come to know the reality that the Englishmen ruled on those days also and now days also.
If not then what should be done right thing on these two players??? We also forget these all issue as the time passes.

Now what our Board or commute did. How they tried to escape from their responsibility. Look..In one conference Dhoni said that we would have to get two days rest after loosing test in Mancherter.” Committee, media we also argued Dhoni’s tweet but why he said like this we not think to know it. Means we escape from the realism. May our Board also is not responsible for this? Why we blame on one people the captain only ? Why in the match we call anybody “Villain” and “Hero”?
Why our selectors always blame on other when we loss and stay safe their position? One or two ways Mahedrasingh Dhoni wants to argued against ICCI in the matter of Jadeja and Anderson but we don’t pay attention and our Board, why they give not pay attention in this matter??

From all these matters I want to say that we now concentration on our play rather than falls down in such issue because many we have to play many so many match before world cup and we have to get ready for world cup 2015

My Review on the movie 2 states.

Hi. My name is Rabhadiya Vinod and I am going to tell something about the movie 2 states.

The story of this movie is very simple one. It is a love story which based on the Chetan Bhagat’s novel. As we know that Indian cinema has nothing new to show the people.” Wahi purani love stories , pehle parents ka nahi man na or story ke end me aram se shadi”.But it is good movie because there are many things which we can see now a days in our families. This movie shows us that fall in love is very easy but to get marry to someone is hard, very hard in our country, India because the first question of Indian family is that from which community he/she belongs to? Is our culture and their culture same one? Its shows the conflict between two community /2states (Punjabi Family and Tamil Family). How the love and furthermore their dreams of marriage becomes problematic in our society which is shown through this movie. So I would like to tell few importance things about this story.

It is very simple story as Krish (Arjun Kapoor) belongs to Punjabi family and Anannya(Alia Bhatt) belongs to Tamil family and both are  studying at IIM collage at Ahmedabad. There is one incidence when both they go outside to take lunch at that time Anannya asks for Bier and  krish says  “NO” he adds that Gujarat is Gandhi’s birthplace and she just replies “ Gandhiji bier ke against the”.Krish wants to be a writer and wants to write simple stories one dialog he says “ story me hero ho ya na ho bas story hero honi chahiye”.The things are good as they really are but the problem start when they fall in love and after completing their study they go their hometown.
Then both tell the story of their love to their parents but they are against them because they think that caste, community and culture are difference forming each other’s family. And one thing that krish always behaves very cruelly with his father and one scene we can see that he slaps his father. I believe that his father’s behaviour toward them is very rude but it’s not meant that he slaps his father. His father loves him but he never tries to show his love. His father’s (Ronit Roy)one dialog is “Jis din tere bachhe tuje se battamizi krege, umeed karta hu k tu smaj sakega k itne chalo se muj par kya bit raji hogi” this line shows his father really loves him.
Then we can see the problems and quarrels of both the family means starting of “ sas aur bahu ke zagde, sas bhu aur sajish or wahi   family drama”. The ways of their marriage become now problematic for both Krish and Anannya. We  generally believe that the big issue of caste, community and culture are only seen in villages and rural or uneducated people but we can see that this issue of caste, community and culture for marriage are found in big cities and in educated peoples also. We always speak that our India is great but in the matter of community caste we are totally behind from other countries. So after much frustration, despair and twists they finally get married with the help of Krish’s father at last and our Indian Bollywood movie remains successful only when it has happy ending.

But form this movie I have many questions which arise in my mind that why have first question in our mind that from which caste you belong to? In the matter of marriage the first question ask by family members beta which caste you belong to?” Why we not give importance to personality rather than caste or community? Why we think that our culture is different from other states or other community’s culture? Why we not throw out such rigidity form our society and our mind ?   In this movie also when Krish tells his mother that Anannay is very much successful in marketing, honest and good girl at that time her mother replies “ Wo Punjabi to nahi hena ? We can see that his mother also gives importance to community rather than personality or nature. So conflict between the two communities or between the 2 states we can see in this movie.

‘’GUNDAY’’

Today I want to share my experiences and thought by watching the movie “GUNDAY” of yashraj production.

First the attractive title of “GUNDAY” pay our attention that in this movie is it like some type of ‘Gundadardi’ or to give harm and trebles to the peoples or the dreams to become the Don of the world or to become the ruler of the world but the reality is totally different its give moral message to us and our society and our system also.

First the movie start of finished war of India and Pakistan in 1971 and Bangladesh comes out as a new country. Because of India Pakistan war there were darker lives of common people. They running here and there in search of Food and shelter but their government can’t fulfill their desire and they died because no getting food. In this darker period there are two orphan children BALA  ( Arjun Kapoor ) and BIKRAM (Ranveer Singh ) . Both are friends. They are also running in search of food .The situation atthat time is that they have to do all the work to get food. “Ensan pet ke liye to sab kuck karta hai.”   They also meet a mafia who is a smuggler and he offered them to work with him at that time their first question is “Khana Milega” It shows that what was the condition of people during partition and the result of India Pakistan war. They started their journey with smuggling now see what our system will against these two who are now ready in quest of their desires. One officer forced BIKRAM to stay his office and the officer try to do against nature work with innocent BIKRAM

The officer is a lusty man for his physical happiness he do against nature but that time BALA came and shoot and murdered that officer  and BIKRAM also shoot on his body. This shows that they are ‘Two hearts but one life’- ‘Do dil ek Jaan’. They have now decided they will do all the work together .So the question arise in our mind and point also noted that this officer disgusting work may be responsible to go on the path of ‘GUNDAY ‘ Lets discuses in detail.

After selected the way of ‘GUNDAY’ they went to Calcutta and here they also troubled with this word ‘Bangladeshi’ at hotel where both are working. Society throw the word like ‘Bangladeshi’ this word will not allow to bear more so they decide that society is now their enemy and so they started to go against law of smuggling of  coal from train in childhood. During this age they have now well settled business  of coal, CNG And wood. If our government stopped them they may be not GUNDAY today but “apni Sarkar ka vajud hai jab apne par koi heavyhota hai tab use khatam krdo” They became now GUNDAY but they have also deep feelings for poor and hungry people because they were also one day hunger, helped poor , made school , give education which their government don’t give to them.

Now the system awake ACP (Irfan Khan) comes and inchrge about their reputation ,their business . he gave clear warning to they but there is some masal kinfd in this movie when Nandita (Priyanka Chopra) comes she fallen love with both BALA and BIKRAM. “Prem ka rang bhut tikha hota hai” this also happens with BIKRAM and BALA and short they now become enemy because they both loved Nandita gave one day to open the secret of to whom she loved more and have to marry with that person this is all the plan, strategies of system ,police  to trapped them in their plan. They are now real enemy and ready to kill each other  to get Nandita. WHY ? because our society give one more chance to become them GUNDAY. But when Nandita  revel the reality that she was doing her duty only because she is a police officer and she also joined with plan at that time BALA says something which very near our heart “ Jab Bhi main kuch achha karne jata hu yeh society mije se wo chin leti hai” They try to leave their work and also to become common people at that time society push back them to on the oath of GUNDAY.

Finally the police asked they to surrender themselves but they said that ‘ Dil Nahi Manega ,,,Hum To Gunday hai or Gunday Rahege”  The tragic end comes when both are accoutered and the story end with their tragic death . They in real sense tragic heroes.

But the question is who make them tragic heroes?  Who make them GUNDAY? Is our society or system  is not responsible to make them GUNDAY ? Are  the love affair and strategies and plan of police make them GUNDAY ? Is the word Bangladeshi make them GUNDAY ? In real sense they are not GUNDAY but our government , our system make them GUNDAY  our system give birth GUNDAY ? Aaj ye Gunday mar gaye par kal jab naye Gunday peda hoge tab ???? what wiil do our system ? Kya  apni ye system Gunday ko Khatam krne ke liye wo bhi ban jaye gi GUNDAY ????????
