My Critical views on "The Da Vinci Code"

Here I am giving my response about the task of Da Vinci Code.
First of all it is necessary to know something about that what is suspense Thriller.     Thriller is a genre of literature, film, and television programming that uses suspense, tension, and excitement as its main elements.[1] Thrillers heavily stimulate the viewer's moods, giving them a high level of anticipation, ultra-heightened expectation, uncertainty, surprise, anxiety and terror. Films of this genre tend to be adrenaline-rushing, gritty, rousing and fast-paced.

And also about that what is Conspiracy thriller. The conspiracy thriller (or paranoid thriller) is a subgenre of thriller fiction. The protagonists of conspiracy thrillers are often journalists or amateur investigators who find themselves (often inadvertently) pulling on a small thread which unravels a vast conspiracy that ultimately goes "all the way to the top."[1] The complexities of historical fact are recast as a morality play in which bad people cause bad events, and good people identify and defeat them. Conspiracies are often played out as "man-in-peril" (or "woman-in-peril")[2] stories, or yield quest narratives similar to those found in whodunits and detective stories.

In Movie Dan Brown very well interpreted the idea of spirituality by the character of Robert Langdon. It shows internal and external struggle about spirituality It is fictional story but some elements which are connected with the contemporary time.

Feminine sacredness major idea Dan Brown depicted some elements about the struggle of Christianity and spiritually by showing the characters of Mary Magdalene and sophie Neveu.On those days also women not believed as sacred so that time women were killed because of they were not scared women. While reading about this novel we can see that this novel is anti-Christian. if I am talking about the idea of feminine  sacredness in many south movie also we can see women role as a minor one rather than heroes role  the movie production also talks about that they give more important to heroes characters rather than heroines characters. But it is about south movie. In Dan Brown’s ‘Da Vinci Code’ we can find same things here that Brown gives less important to Sophie Neveu’s character in comparison with Robert Langdon.

My critical view on 'one night @ the call center'

Chetan Bhagat's 'one night @ the call center' isn't good literature. Many critics don't find anything good in this novel but people give very good response to this novel that’s why chetan Bhagat’s Novel remain top 5 best sellers in january 2014 and nine years of this novel publication still remain the sixth position in top selling book in india.

No doubt that chetan tone is pitch-perfect because he represents youth here in this novel and all his novel youth remain centre and they are portrayed in such a that anybody compare his/her story with their characters and he also shows the contemporary position of India.
ya, ofcorse now a days we can see many students in india from enginering or any technical line, they generally prefer to go forgins contries because they think that our goverment pay less than foragins goverments.So such shining stars beliving that they will get far better and suitable life in foragins conrries rather than in our contries.
Menippean satire genre chiefly in ancient greek literature an Latin literature in which contemporary institutions, conventions and idea criticized in a mocking satire style and mingled process and tense in on@tccwe can also see that one or two ways America comes at the power position, when one american man gives bad words to varun at that he couldn't speak anything because our call center working under their power.

Globalization in on@tcc we can see when Vroom and his friends blackmail to Mr.Bakshi by hacking his email account. One of the example of Globalization in the movie “Happy New Year” in which one character hacking all the laptops and gathered all the votes of peoles for the dance competition.To Cyberpunk is a postmodern science fiction genre. Its one kind of happiness of life generally focuses on ‘high tech’ and low life.

My critical views on "Waiting for Godot"

1) For my point of view ‘Waiting Godot’ deals with the norms that a desire, a fulfillment, a dream, a hope of somebody is still waiting which has no any end. It is useless, meaningless, monotonous and absurd or nothingness, but in nothingness there is something (A hope).A new day will come with new desire that something fruitful will come for somebody in life. One or two ways it may be God, a fruitful desire will come for somebody who is eagerly waiting that has no any end.

‘Waiting for Godot’ gives a message that while doing nothing there is something. “Nothing is also better than something” A person who always has desire for any achievement till birth to death his list of desire will never come to end. In the same way for Godot there is ‘waiting’ which has no any end or meaning. When we are on death bed at that we have many desires to give this thing or that thing to our members, means no end of desire when we are on death bed. There is no meaning of life. Nothingness remains in life.

(2) Existentialism became prominent in the mid 19th and 20th century. Existentialism is well-known philosophical movement which is related with human condition. The main idea of this movement is existence proceeds essence means main theme of existentialism is that for human beings is the fact they are only individual , no meaning. Thought individual and their ideas and thought remains important but Existentialism has no any great impact apart from philosophy. What is a purpose to be a human? Are we doing the thing which really absurd or no meaningless than what is our existence? Even Sartre himself once said “Existentialism? I don’t know what that is.”

(3) Sisyphus myths show the absurdity of man’s life. Sisyphus was condemned to do the task forever which is meaningless. The task is pushing a boulder up a mountain and its roll down and repeatedly pushing a boulder up a mountain. The task has no any meaning, meaningless.

(4) The ‘Ubermench’ it means ‘Over man’, ‘Over human’, ‘Superman’, ‘Superhuman’. Zarathustra is the one who is willing to risk all for the sake of enhancement of humanity. Over man is someone who can establish his own values affect to others.

(5) The term ‘Absurd’ was coined by Martin Esslin in his essay ‘Theatre of Absurd’. In these plays absurd means man’s reaction to a world apparently without meaning. Such plays have No Beginning – No Middle- No End. No plot construction this is the structure of Absurd theatre. This kind of plays becomes monotonous. It has no any meaning. Absurd is also connected with Existentialism and in existentialism we see that human existence has no meaning or purpose and therefore no any way for communication.

(6) By showing the images of a tree evening, growing leave and coming of night and moon Samuel Beckett trying to show the real image of human life that we are still waiting with endless desire that something will happen which is good for us. One or two it may be god or any achievement means our desire has no any end it continuously going for waiting something same way Vladimir and Estragon are waiting. Growing of leaves arise a hope, Night shows the darkness of life and moon shows that tomorrow will come with new hope as mankind normally believes. But into the end of desire there is nothingness.

Apart from all this I have one question that Samuel Beckett says life has no meaning or nothingness in life through ‘waiting for Godot’ then what is the purpose to live life? Can we say that the life in which we are living has no any meaning? If it has no meaning then, what is the meaning to be a human?

My critical View On The Sense of an Ending.

The book is written into two parts. The novel deals with flashback technique. Tony Webster nostalgic for his past in which he met Adrian and Veronica.So the game between past and present is ruuning throghtout the novel.

one of the example from the Hollywood movie “X-Men: Days of Future Past” in which we can see the narrative technique of past and present as well.

The Ending seems to be that of the old man Anthony Webster who is near the ‘end’ of his journey of life. He ponders – feels nostalgic about the ‘past’same way In ernest Hemingway's “ old man and the sea”. In this novel also we can see the struggle of an old man man with his day to day life.Old man believed as a ‘ Laughing stock’ in his community. old man this line shows his real struggle with his life

“Because I love you, i have to kill you” Fish he said softly aloud “ i will stay with you until i am dead.”
The Money which was given by Adrian’s mother for veronica , she said it was as a ‘Blood Money’.

Here, the puzzle isn't clear that whose baby that was? At some extant writer creates curiosity to the readers about the Baby it may be like this.
  S-V2 + A2 =B
A2 + V + a1 x S = B

B=baby(Adrian)
S=Sarah
A=Adrian(Father)
V=veronica.
S – V means that there is no good relation between mother Sarah ford and daughter Veronica. The result of their relation.

Therefore I want to conclude that with this question to answer that what is unreliable narrator? We can say that Tony is unreliable narrator because he talk about his memory and memory are not always trustworthy sometimes it is not true. So we can say that we can't rely on history.

So this is my interpretation of this text.

My Critical Views on The Birthday Party.

Comedy of menace such kinds of plays are generally written by David Campton for his four plays in which the characters threatened by obscure, force or by personality.

Comedy of Menace this term coined by Irving wardel who borrowed it from the subtitle of Campton's play The Lunatic View: A Comedy of Menace, in reviewing Pinter's and Campton's plays an Encore in 1958.

Absurd theatre such kinds of plays are monotonous.   Critic Martin Esslin coined the term in his 1960 essay "Theatre of the Absurd." He related these plays based on a broad theme of the Absurd, similar to the way Albert Camus uses the term in his 1942 essay, "The Myth of Sisyphus" . These playwrights pointed out that what would happens if the human beings have no any existence. Then all the communication breaks down.  Samuel Beckett's ' Waiting For the Godot' is one of the great example of such plays.

 Audience can’t find anything new. Nothingness remain in the mouth of the audiences.Harold Pinter dramas also known as absurd theatre but later on such drams known as ‘ Comedy of Menace’ in which characters are frighting from others.

I haven't seen movie but there are many scenes which creats comedy of menace.like Stanley is beating drum, the sound of cut of newspapers, the very beginning the door sound and; the scene of Blind man’s Bluff is the most frightening scene of the movie/play. These scenes show upcoming danger on Stanley.

Many things have no any clear cut as what was the past of Stanley and from where he came. and the other characters  McCann and Goldberg, their past is not clear. Each character are frightening from others but fear for what? Those things are not clear.

My Critical Views on The Lighthouse.

1) Complexity of human relationship which was portrayed by Virginia Woolf by keeping the center figure Mrs.Ramsay. Marriage life becomes more problematic if there is no any understanding or openness in husband wife relation which was not found in the characters of Mrs.Ramsay and Mr.Ramsay. Woolf also tried to remove the credence the psychology of modern society that “woman can not write and paint” which relevant to Lily Briscoe character. The stream of consciousness technique was found that whatever Woolf tries to say, she is provoking by the character of Lily Briscoe and through the mind of James. Her style of painting symbolizes that woman can do as man can, but Mrs.Ramsay became the puppet of her husband obedience and her internal struggle with everything around her.

(2) The novel is both the tribute and critique as per my perspective. Mrs.Ramsay we know that she comes out as the idea woman in modern society as there was article of faith that “woman can’t write and paint”. She emerges as well cared mother and self sacrifice woman. Woolf gives more importance on her characters rather than others characters then why she created another character of Lily Briscoe? In the center part of the novel Mrs.Ramsay dies but she remains alive into the heart of the readers.
(3) The Lighthouse means a place which shows the way and warns of danger. If we compare Lily Briscoe with Lighthouse than we can say that its danger form the view of society that woman has no power as man has, the painting which was done by Lily. It shows harshness of society on women. And if we compare Mrs.Ramsay with Lighthouse we can say that she is unconsciously or subconsciously going to danger by pursing her feeling for her children and husband. Its readers perspective that how they compare Lighthouse with different characters.

(4) According to Joseph Blotner there are two types of myths (1) The pagan Myth (2) The Oedipus Myth. The Pagan myth presented importance of female role as woman is very much cared about her duty and played thrice role of mother ,wife and daughter In this myth Rhea is presented as a mother, Demeter is presented as a wife and Persephone is presented as a daughter. These three roles of woman we can see in the role of Mrs.Ramsay so this myth is very near in this novel. The Oedipus myth is very much relevant with James character. His attraction towards his mother.

(5) The word ‘Kunstlerroman’ it means the growth of artist, work of artist or struggle of artist. how Lily struggled herself to complete her painting as per society criticism on woman work what Virginia Woolf does the thing by creating the character of Lily Briscoe with pain and struggle but I the end of the novel she becomes able to finish her work.

(8) As we know that this is open-ended novel but curiosity may increase with Ending of the novel with the last line” closed door and open window” it shows that now Lily dilemma or her interpretation towards Mrs.Ramsay is totally clear as she completed her painting and her vision on Mrs.Ramsay is clear. The line ‘Open window’ means come out from the dilemma than woman can do as man can. One or two ways she also not recognize Mrs.Ramsay or she cant understand her character that why she says last line “Dearest Briscoe you are a fool”
